Lonely Planet ~ Another reason to visit us!

We are really pleased to announce that Number 8 is now featured in the Lonely Planet Guide for England. Our entry describes '...the tasteful dining room of this new cafe - brasserie, which is rapidly gaining a reputation for its pan global menus......'.

 As from Thursday February  21st, we will be hosting Salsa nights every Thursday evening.

Beginners   7.45pm.  Intermediates 8.45pm.

Alfresco eating

The weather allowed us to open our out side terraced seating area during the last weekend in January - the first time this year.  It is quiet, secluded and a lovely sun trap when the weather is good.

Number 8 for private functions

If you're looking for a venue with a difference to celebrate that special occasion with no room charge - look no further. Our 80 cover restaurant enables us to accommodate large and small parties. The whole premises can also be booked on Friday and Saturday nights for special functions. We can cater for a wide range of events including wedding parties, special birthdays, christening teas and family celebrations.
